Under UGIFT, we have had projects in education, health and irrigation. The programme has aided theconstruction and upgrade of schools in the district.
They include Buteza Seed Secondary School, Bugitimwa Seed Secondary School whose construction is underway, and another secondary school in Buyobu.
Students can now enjoy a positive learning environment with spacious classrooms, ICT(computers), well-equipped science laboratories, sanitary facilities and staff accommodation. Overall, theacademic performance has improved.
