When the program came, I was lucky to be among those who qualified to be part of the irrigation program. The advantage I had was that I had a water source and land that was required. The district technical team carried out the design and sourced a supplier to install the irrigation system, which included the water tank, the submersible pump, solar panels, pipes and irrigation equipment.
Despite thefact that the co-payment was costly for me, the equipment has made my harvesting and gardening easier. Itrain thecommunity on my farm and many have started applying knowledge from here, in their gardens.
